เมื่อวันที่ 13-15 พฤษภาคม 2566 คณะรัฐศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ ร่วมกับ Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Universitas Airlangga ประเทศอินโดนีเซีย จัดโครงการสังเกตการณ์เลือกตั้งประเทศไทย ปี2566 เพื่อศึกษาเปรียบเทียบระบบการเลือกตั้งของประเทศไทยและประเทศอินโดนีเซีย โดยมีอาจารย์และนักศึกษาจากทั้งสองสถาบันลงพื้นที่เพื่อสัมภาษณ์ผู้สมัครจากพรรคการเมือง นักศึกษา และประชาชนทั่วไป ในอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดปัตตานี
From May 13-15, 2023, the Faculty of Political Science, PSU, in collaboration with the Faculty of Social and Political Science, Universitas Airlangga, Indonesia, orgnized a project to observe the Thai general election 2023, aiming to study and compare the electoral systems of Thailand and Indonesia. Lecturers and students from both institutions conducted fieldwork to interview political party candidates, student representatives, and the general public in Mueang District, Pattani.
Additionally, students from the Faculty of Social and Political Science, Universitas Airlangga, presented their lessons learned from the Thai election on the following topics:
– Democracy at a Crossroads: Assessing Thailand’s military influence in the Hat Yai Legislative Election 2023.
– Women’s issues in the 2023 General Election of Thailand.
– Youth and Politics: College students’ involvement in Thailand’s 2023 General Election.
– Rise of Populism during the election: A comparative analysis of Thailand and Indonesia.
– Pattani Muslim perceptions of democracy in the 2023 elections.
